A wise man once said “One cannot choose to grow a beard. One can only choose whether to shave it or not”.
I’ve been raising funds to help with my Himalayan Teaching Project since January and so far we’ve raised over a thousand dollars towards the goal. In order to help promote the project I’ve decided to let my beard grow out until we hit the $2,000 mark, then throw a big shaving party.
Those who know me know that I’ve had my trimmed beard since leaving the Navy. I haven’t let the growth go unchecked since my 2009 AT Thru-hike attempt. Here goes nothing!
